Bridging the cultural gap in the mental health care industry took on a whole new meaning when my guest today visited the mysterious, enchanting country of Cuba recently. Sharon R. Rose, LMSW CAAC has wanted to experience Cuba for as long as she can remember and her visit was so enlightening she wants to share it with YOU today! They toured hospitals and orphanges, studied how folks with mental health disorders and conditions are treated and about the programs that help them. They learned if the GLBT community is served in a country governed by a dictatorship as well as explored parenting/family issues and values. There is so much more to learn from Sharon that we welcome all those thow tune in to find out what life is like in the romantic country that gave us such stars as Desi Arnaz, Daisy Fuentes, Gloria Estefan and more from a mental health perspective!
