David Palmiere (“Paul – Mary”)is an attorney with the Rothstein Law Group in Southfield, Michigan, a law firm that specializes in personal injury claims and especialy in claims against insurance companies on behalf of people who have been hurt in car accidents.
Mr. Palmiere, who grew up in Ann Arbor, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in the fields of economics and philosophy from the University of Michigan, which he received in 1972, and a degree in law from the University of Michigan Law School which he earned in 1975.
In November 2016, Mr. Palmiere will have completed 40 years of law practice. He has been practicing no-fault automobile law in Michigan almost as long as Michigan has HAD a no-fault auto law. Mr. Palmiere has practiced extensively on both sides of no-fault cases, representing the insurance companies almost as often as he has represented people injured in car crashes. Today, with the Rothstein Law Group, he exclusively speaks for the victims of auto accidents who are making insurance claims against automobile insurance companies.
Mr. Palmiere has served as a Professor of Law teaching paralegal classes at Oakland University, including no-fault auto law, for the past 35 years. He has occasionally appeared as a guest speaker at Wayne State University Law School, and at various seminars. Mr. Palmiere also regularly serves as a judge at law student competitions sponsored by the Michigan Law School, the Wayne State Law School, and the American Bar Association.
In his private time, Mr. Palmiere is seen around town with his beloved wife, attorney Kathleen Meyer. He is also a published poet, and the author of a number of published articles on various aspects of the law.
